7910. Deborah (Deb) Ann8 Allgood (Orville Clyde7, John Franklin6, Elech Franklin5, Charles B.4, Edward3, William2 Algood, Edward1 Allgood) was born in Auburn, Nemaha Co., NE February 4, 1958. Deborah died January 3, 2016 in Nebraska City, Otoe Co. NE. OBIT: Deborah A. (Allgood) Sammons was born on February 4, 1958 in Auburn, NE; the youngest of nine children born to Clyde and Ellen (Applegate) Allgood. Deb was baptized at the Peru Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Peru, NE.
She was raised in Peru, NE until 1974 when she and her mother moved to Nebraska City. She attended Peru Elementary thru the 5th grade and then attended Auburn Middle and High School until the middle of her sophomore year. She then attended Nebraska City Lourdes Central where she graduated in May of 1976. After graduation she went to work for Region V Services for a little over a year. She then left and was employed at Pendleton Woolen Mills and the Ambassador. She then went back to Region V Services in November of 1978 and spent the next 26 years of employment there.
Deb was a janitor at the Elks Lodge for 10 years, while being employed at her full time job, and a bartender on weekends at the Lodge for 2 ½ years. She was a member of the Nebr. City Rescue Squad for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Eldon, sister and brother in law Laquita and Roy Rubenking, an infant brother and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She was married to John Sammons for 34 years and had three sons who survive her: Jeremy Sammons and wife Bobbi of Nebr. City, Beau Sammons and wife Jill of Nebr. City and Lane Sammons and wife Amber of Wilton, IA; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brothers: Darrell Allgood and wife Jan,, Marty Allgood, and Ron Allgood and wife Darlene all of Nebr. City; Arnie Allgood and wife Kathy of Nacogdoches, Tx; sister Pearl Rainforth and husband Dave of Lincoln, NE; sister in law Mary Allgood of Nebr. City; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Deborah (Deb) Ann Allgood and John T. Sammons had the following children:
