Whiddon, 99, of Columbus, Georgia, Superintendent of the finishing department at Bibb Manufacturing Company before his retirement, died at St. Francis Hospital on Thursday, January 2,2003. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2003, 5-7p.m., at McMullen Funeral Home, Inc., 3874 Gentian Boulevard, Columbus. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 3 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. LeBron Matthews. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to McMullen Funeral Home, Inc., Columbus, Georgia.
