She married Henry W. Hoots October 31, 1891 in Morganton, Burke Co., NC. Henry was born February 11, 1871 in Morganton, Burke Co., NC. Henry was the son of Enos M. Hoots and Sarah Catherine Baity. Henry died April 9, 1931 in Davie Co., NC. Henry was buried in the Old Joppa Cemetery, Mocksville, NC From "Descendants of Jacob Hoots," by Carl Casper Hoots: "They were living in Yadkin County and farming near the old Allgood Cemetery that is located on Old Stage Coach Road near Deep Creek (Baptist) Church....They moved to near Mocksville, Davie County, in 1909, and farmed and did carpentry work."
