She married Harrison Windsor Hutchins 1909 in Moxksville, Davidson Co., NC. Harrison was born February 23, 1889. Harrison was the son of John Ellis Hutchens and Mary Elizabeth Allgood. Harrison died August 24, 1957 in Yadkinville, Yadkin Co., NC. Harrison was buried at Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

12559 v. Lillian Doris Hutchens was born in Morganton, Burke Co., NC October 20, 1922. Lillian died June 26, 2003 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., NC. OBIT: Miss Lillian Doris Hutchens, 80, of East Clemmonsville Road, Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003, at the Brian Center of Winston-Salem. She was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Yadkin County to the late Harrison Windsor and Vercie Jane Allgood Hutchens. She was a graduate of Courtney High School, class of 1942, and was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. as an inspector, with 40 years of service. Miss Hutchens was a member of Parkview Church of God, where she was in the Ambassadors Sunday-school class. Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Ruth H. Holcomb, and Mrs. Joyce H. Dinkins and husband Eugene Dinkins, all of Yadkinville, Mrs. Gladys H. Weatherman of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Betty H. Thompson of Roanoke Rapids; her brothers, Mr. Gilbert Hutchens, and Mr. Wallace Hutchens and wife Dorothy, all of Yadkinville including her deceased brother, Mr. Herbert H. "Buck" Hutchens and his wife, Imogene Hutchens, who still survives in Yadkinville; six nieces; five nephews; and seve! ral other great-nieces and great-nephews. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Parkview Church of God, 3263 Kernersville Road, Winston-Salem by the Rev. Bobby Dishman. The family will receive friends immediately after the Celebration of Life. She will lie in state 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on Old Stage Road in Yadkinville. The family would like to extend its appreciation and a special thank you to Etta Maynard, Sylvia Willis, John Schwarzmann and the other many good friends in her life and her church. Also thank you to the many kind people at the Brian Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hutchens family.
