90. Sarah Jane⁴ Allgood (John³, Ishmael², Edward¹) was born in Elbert Co., GA abt 1807. Sarah died bef 1844 in Monroe Co., TN.

She married Joseph (Preacher Joe) Peeler November 29, 1827 in Elbert Co., GA. Married by Daniel M. Johnson, JP. His second marriage was to Susan A. Curtis, daughter of james Curtis, on November 16,1844 in Monroe Co., TN

Joseph was born March 10, 1801 in Elbert Co., GA. Joseph was the son of Abner Peeler and Susannah Nicks. Joseph died March 11, 1871 in Monroe Co., TN. Monroe Co, TN, Chancery Court Case No 634, filed 23 Mar 1877, by William A Peeler, on the estate of Joseph Peeler, lists 17 children. (Nine are believed to be children of Sarah Allgood, his first wife.)

Joseph was a Cumberland Presbyterian preacher and founded New Hope C. P. church n 1868 in Madisonville, Monroe County, TN. He also founded the Corntassel Community Church near Madisonville, where he and most of his family are buried in the small cemetery beside the church.

John is thought to be Sarah's father, but not proven.

+ 406 v. Sarah Jane Peeler was born September 9, 1832.

407 vi. Joseph A. Peeler was born 1833. Joseph died bef 1877. He married Keanerva A. (___).

+ 408 vii. Rebecca Caroline (Callie) Peeler was born abt 1834.

+ 409 viii. George Henderson Peeler was born February 21, 1835.

+ 410 ix. Wilson D. Peeler was born May 3, 1841.

+ 411 x. Susan Margaret Peeler was born month 12, 1843.
