William died November 13, 1862 in St Louis, St Louis Co., MO. William died in a Confederate Army Hospital in St. Louis, MO

She married James Stanton Rice February 17, 1863 in Salem, Deere Co., MO. James was born October 27, 1829 in Hawkins Co., TN. James was the son of John Rice. James died March 13, 1915 in Houston, Texas Co., MO.

+ 1841 ii. Margaret Jane Houston was born July 20, 1853.

1843 iv. Nancy E. Houston was born 1857. Nancy died 1880 in Houston, Texas Co., MO. She married W. S. Blankenship.

1844 v. James Armstrong Houston was born in Dent Co., MO July 6, 1860. James died October 20, 1862 in Lincoln Co., MO.

1846 vii. Christopher Columbus. Rice was born in Missouri City, Fort Bend Co., TX 1866. Christopher died bef 1891.

+ 1848 ix. Sarah Jennie Rice was born April 7, 1871.

+ 1849 x. Julia Dent Rice was born August 11, 1872.
