Howard died April 26, 2006 Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ. Obit: -- Howard Boyd Allgood, 68, formerly of Peru, died April 26, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ. Howard was born October 10, 1937 in Peru to Raymond E. Allgood, Sr. and Ethel E. Allgood (Sherman). Howard finished the 10th grade and worked road construction in his early years. He had worked for 13 years in law enforcement and 15 years with the volunteer fire department - both in the Peru community. Howard married Trudy Jean Schnider April 26, 1965 in Sabetha, Kan. He had three children prior to this union: Timothy Cason, Rex and Jay Adam and four with Trudy: Brian, Tony, and Chris Allgood, and Lisa Allgood-Beavers. Howard is also survived by his three brothers: Ray Jr., Rex and Monte and a sister Betty Gammel as well as 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents and an infant brother, Dwight. Funeral services were held in Phoenix on May 2, 2006 with Interment at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Phoenix. Phoenix Memorial Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
