Virgil died December 14,1964 in Iron, MO. Virgil was buried in the Ottery Cemetery, Iron Co., Missouri
He married Eunice Harriet Harbison. Eunice was born November 28,1916 in Iron Co., MO. Eunice was the daughter of Theodore T. Harrison and Mellie Elizabeth Tinker. Eunice died June 14, 2000 in Potosi, Washington Co., MO. OBIT: Eunice Harriet Fryman, of Potosi, [Washington County] Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2000 in the Potosi Manor Nursing Home at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 17 days. She was born on November 28, 1916 at Goodland, Mo., to the late Theodore and Mellie (Tinker) Harbison.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Roney Fryman on December 14, 1964. She was also preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. She worked for many years as a cook at the Belleview Valley Nursing Home.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are two sons, Bill Fryman and wife Phyllis of Potosi, and Jim Fryman of Potosi; two daughters, Charlene Rayfield and husband Dean of Imperial and Jeffalene Gunning and husband Tom of St. Charles; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, June 16, 2000 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi [Mo.], with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Dean Rayfield, Tom Gunning, Gary Harbison, Wade Quick, Greg Krus and Jack Miner. Warren Jennings served as honorary pallbearer.
Interment was in the Ottery Creek Cemetery at Belleview, Mo., under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
Virgil Roney Fryman and Eunice Harriet Harbison had the following children:
