Lois died December 4, 1995 in Anadarko, Caddo Co., OK. OBIT: Services for Lois Berniece Goucher, 66, of Andarko will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Steverson Funeral Home chapel of Anadarko with the Rev. Ron Reston, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Gracemont, officiating. Goucher was born August 10, 1929 in Ada to Angeline and Willy (Bill) Henson and died Monday at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman after an extended illness. She married John D. Goucher September 13, 1947 in Cordell. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters, a nephew and tow grandchildren. Goucher was a graduate of Reed High School and moved to Cordell where she worked as a nurse's aide until she married. The couple eventually made their home in and around the Anadarko ara. She was a farmer's wife and a homemaker devoted to God and her family, often making her home a refuge for family in need. Helping others was her greatest joy. She was an original creations seamstress for her children and grandchildren, an exceptional cook and spent many peaceful hours in her vegetable an flower gardens. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Robert and Mary of Gracemont and Jimmy Don and Phyllis of Blanchard; a daughter, Lois Ann of Gracemont; five sisters, Margrett Groseclose of Verden, Ann Dorsey of Hobart, Ester Lee of Mangum, Alline Henson of Midwest City and Dolly Shoopman of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Willy Henson of Gracemont and Charles Henson of Midwest City; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchldren and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and dear friends. John and Lois were both buried in the Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Caddo Co., OK
She married John D. Goucher September 13, 1947 in Cordell, Washita Co., OK. John was born August 13, 1929 in Cloud Chief, Caldo Co., OK. John was the son of John Washington Goucher and Ruby Mae Brown. John died December 1, 2001 in Anadarko, Caddo Co., OK.
