4402. Odessa Marie7 Matthews (Ida Marie6 Ney, Rebecka Isabell5 Allgood, Peter4, William (Pikey) Henry3, William John2, Edward1) was born in Pittsburg, Crawford Co., KS December 20, 1914. Odessa died November 24, 1956 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO. Odessa died as result of cancer of the lymph glands. She was buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS OBIT: Mrs. Marie Bevens 41, of 719 Pennsylvania (Kansas City, Mo.), died Saturday night at the General Hospital. Mrs. Bevans had been a resident of Greater Kansas City most of her life. She worked in the packing department of the Universal Manufacturing Company, 411 East Eight. Surviving is a son, James W. Glenn, 416 Maple Boulevard. Services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday at the graveside in Maple Hill Cemetery

She married twice. She married (___) Bevins. She married Theodore Glenn May 5, 1932 in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS. Theodore was born October 16, 1902 in Nevada, Vernon Co., MO. Theodore was the son of Chalmers Curtis Glenn and Effa Elda (Effie) Bailey. Theodore died December 2, 1936 in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS. Theodore died of a masssive heart attack. OBIT: Theodore Glenn, 34 years and a WPA worker died unexpectedly this morning of a heart attack at his home, 1030 Ruby Avenue. Marvin Maze and Leo Mitchell, city fireman from headquarters who answered the emergency call shortly after 9 o'clock this morning failed to revive Glenn with the pulmotor.

Mr. Glenn received a wire yesterday from the Union Pacific Railroad to report for works in the shops at Pocatello, Idaho. He was planning on leaving tonight.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie Glenn; two daughters, Shirley Ann Glenn and Thelma Jean Glenn and a son, James Walter Glenn, all of the home; his father, C. C. Glenn, 1207 Ruby Avenue; his mother, Mrs. Effie E. Hawley, 838 Kansas Avenue; two brothers, Carl O. Glenn, Green River, Wash., and Noble W. Glenn, 336 North Seventh Street and two sisters, Mrs. Lois Harper, 1710 Richmond Avenue, and Mrs. Lorraine Freund, Atchison, Kan.

NOTICE OF SERVICE:

Glenn - Funeral services for Theodore Glenn, 1030 Ruby Ave., will be held from the Simmons Funeral Home 2 p.m. Saturday (5 May). Burial Maple Hill Cemetery. Remains will lie in State at the funeral home.

Theordore was married first to Thelma Teeters, then diviored her on March 7, 1930.

Odessa Marie Matthews and Theodore Glenn had the following children:
