"(ROANOKE) Funeral services for William Wallace "Kitty" Fisher, 76, of Roanoke were at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. Shannon Mapp and S. T. Janney officiating. Burial was at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Fisher died Monday, April 24, at his residence. He was born in Randolph County on Sept. 22, 1923, son of William Henry and Velma Wilkinson Fisher. He was a World War II Army veteran, a retired truck driver and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bovine Norred Fisher of Roanoke; a daughter, Beverly Ann Hill of Montgomery; three sons, Mike Fisher and Jeff Fisher of Roanoke and Ronald Fisher of Woodstock, Ga.; a stepson, Kenny Calhoun of Roanoke; a sister, Sue Bradley of Roanoke; two brothers, Curtis Fisher of Roanoke and Walter Fisher of Zebulon, Ga.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Larry Joe Norred, Ronnie Norred, David Fisher, Phillip Calhoun, David Treadwell and Scotty Norred. Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke."

He married twice. He married Eunice Rosalyn Beverly. Eunice was born September 16, 1925 in Randolph Co., AL. Eunice was the daughter of Winston C. Beverly and Ellie Berma Dollar. Eunice died March 23, 2003 in Anniston, Calhoun Co., AL. Services for Eunice Rosalyn Quick of Roanoke were Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lavelle Reynolds, the Rev. Stoney Halsey and the Rev. Harold Bonner officiating. Burial was at White's Chapel Methodist Church cemetery. Mrs. Quick died Sunday, March 23, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston following an extended illness. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Quick was the daughter of Winston C. and Ellie Berma Dollar Beverly. She was a member of White's Chapel Methodist Church and had retired from Palm Beach Company. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Don Quick of Roanoke; a daughter, Beverly Ann Hill of Montgomery; two sons, Mike Fisher of Roanoke and Ronald Fisher of Florence; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerrell Hodges, Waymon Hodges, Kevin Ogilvie, Bill Kirby, Gilbert Marshall and Billy Crabtree. Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
