He married Addie Della Stewart April 28, 1928 in Maricopa Co., AZ. Addie was born February 12, 1909 in Williamson Co. IL. Addie was the daughter of Thomas Louden Stewart and Florence A DeWoody.

He married Norma Janice Purcell October 4, 1950 in Kansas City, Jackson Co, MO. Norma was born December 9, 1933 in Carthage, MO. Norma was the daughter of William H. Purcell and Hester M. Dressler. Norma died October 24, 2003. He married Martha Juanita Lester December 20, 1954 in Independence, Jackson Co., MO. Martha was born October 23, 1932 in Fulton, AR. Martha is the daughter of James R. Lester and Eva N. (___). He married Diana Lyunn Carlisle May 22, 1981 in Clark Co., NV.

24588 ii. Donald Stewart Cockerel was born in Brawley, CA January 18,1931. Donald died December 31, 2000 in Prescott, Yavapai Co., AZ.

24589 iii. Lorym Eigene Cockeel was born in Harbor City, CA February 19, 1932. Lorym died September 14, 2018. He married Virginia Belle Pyle April 9, 1949 in Pasquotank Co., NC. Virginia was born March 17, 1932 in Alleghany, VA. Virginia is the daughter of James Ariyle and Maude Young Dill.
