Virgil Milo Bass and Ruth Margaret Ferguson had the following children:

7316 iv. Neil Ferguson Bass was born in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., IA June 16, 1931. Neil died October 21, 2008 in Helmet, Riverside Co., CA. OBIT: Neil F. Bass, 77, of Winchester, Calif., and formerly of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008.
He was born June 16, 1931, in Rose Hill, the son of Virgil M. and Ruth Ferguson Bass. He graduated from Oskaloosa Senior High in 1948. Upon graduation from the University of Iowa with a degree in business, he served in the United States Navy receiving his honorable discharge. His career in the insurance industry took him to New York, Chicago and lastly to California where he had made his home for the past 40 years.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Debbie Bass, of Lexington, S.C.; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Ken Ruby, of Fargo, N.D.; and nieces: Janice Pyle, Martha Gaydos (Mike), Jill Ewing (Scott) and Nikki Bass.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Carol Bass.
