OBIT: Grace Lucille Drenkhahn,93, formerly of Guttenberg, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, in The Meth-Wick Community, Cedar Rapids, after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, by the Rev. Harold McMillin. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Survivors include a son, James of Hiawatha; a daughter, Joan (Lyle) Hanson of Midland, Mich.; five grandchildren and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; and a grandson, Kenneth Drenkhahn.

Born Oct. 14, 1906, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Bass Bacon, she was a home economist in the Cedar Rapids and Creston area for many years. On Oct. 12, 1957, she married Raymond Drenkhahn at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Marion.

She married Raymond W. Drenkhahn October 12, 1957 in Marion, IA. Raymond was born April 1, 1910 in Schaller, Sac Co., IA. Raymond was the son of Willam Drenkhahn and Freida (___). Raymond died July 10, 1992. In 1930 Grace was unmarried and a Lodger in Sidney, Fremont Co., IA
