1262. William Michael6 Greathouse (Sarah Ann (Anney)5 Allgood, Peter4, William (Pikey) Henry3, William John2, Edward1) was born in Selfton, Effingham Co., IL May 19, 1853. William died February 6, 1906 in Cedar Junction, Johnson Co, KS. OBIT: W. M. Greathouse was born in the state of Illinois May 19, 1853, removing to Missouri. There he gave his heart to God and his hand to the Methodist church. There he was united in marriage to Miss Johnson, who was born in Randolph county, N.C., in childhood coming with her parents to Indiana and later to Missouri. To this union there was ten children born - two sons and eight daughters. He moved to Cedar Junction, Kansas, some six or seven years ago settling in the village where he died Feb. 6, 1906, at the age 52 years, 8 months and 17 days. One son and three daughters preceded him to the Spirit land and he leaves a wife, six children, mother-in-law and four brothers to mourn his death. His death resulted from pneumonia fever which terminated in quick consumption. The funeral sermon was preached at the Cedar Junction union church by the writer and his body was laid to rest in the Monticello cemetery, Cedar Junction, Johnson Co, Kansas
He married Sarah Jane Johnson 1874 in MO. Sarah was born December 28, 1856 in Randolph Co., NC. Sarah was the daughter of John C. Johnson and Jane Cox. Sarah died March 15, 1938 in St. Clair Co., MO. Sarah was buried in the Monticello Union Cemetery, Shawnee, Monticello Twp, Johnson Co, Kansas
On the 1910 census, Sarah was shown as having 10 children with 7 living.

Charles was born June 1, 1895 in Westonm Marathon Co., WI. Charles died February 6, 1971 in Artesia, Los Angeles Co., CA. She married William T. Miller July 29, 1915 in Topeka, Shawnee Co., KS.
