He married twice. He married Mary Alice Garner April 12, 1888 in Webster Co., MO. Mary was born December 22, 1868 in Webster Co., MO. Mary was the daughter of Martin M Garner and Louisa Miller. Mary died bef 1910. Mary was deceased prior to the 1910 census as Abraham was shown as a widow on the cenus.

He married Sarah Jane Johnson September 22, 1910 in Oskaloosa, Jefferson Co, KS. Sarah was born December 28, 1856 in Randolph Co., NC. Sarah was the daughter of John C. Johnson and Jane Cox. Sarah died March 15, 1938 in St. Clair Co., MO. Sarah was buried in the Monticello Union Cemetery, Shawnee, Monticello Twp, Johnson Co, Kansas

On the 1910 census, Sarah was shown as having 10 children with 7 living. In 1905 Abraham and his kids lived in Lexington, Johnson Co., KS. In 1910 Abrahm, a widow, and his children were living in Delware, Jefferson Co., KS

4346 ii. Frank Greathouse was born in Webster Co., MO September 1890. Frank died Novembe 25, 1909 in Valley Falls, Jefferson Co., KS.

4348 iv. Oscar Lee Greathouse was born in Springfield, Greene Co., MO March 8, 1895. WW I Draft registration indicates he was born in Springfield, MO Oscar died October 4, 1962 in Ryan City, AZ. He married Carrie M. Bishop December 24, 1918 in Jackson Co., MO. Carrie was born September 26, 1900 in MO. Carrie was the daughter of Jeremiah M Bishop and Martha Agnes (___). Carrie died August 6,1986. In 1920 Oscar was living in Clayton Co., IA. In 1930 Oscar's Wife Lee had her brother and sister in law living with them in Jackson Co., MO

4349 v. William McKinley. Greathouse was born in Webster Co., MO September 1896. William died June 10, 1919. Obit: William M. Greathouse was born in Webster County, Missouri, September 11, 1897, and died in the Government hospital at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, June 10, 1919, after an illness of six weeks, aged 21 years, 8 months and 29 days. The cause of death was meningitis and tubercular conditions. William enlisted in the 41st Infantry of the regular army at Jefferson Barracks, August 18, 1916, and served one summer on the Mexican Border, and had been stationed at Fort Leavenworth since August 3, 1918. He carried government insurance. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Greathouse of Valley Falls, and three brothers, Robert of Independence, Mo.,l Oscar of Green Bay, Michigan, and Fred of Newton, Iowa, one brother and a sister, having preceded him "over there." Accompanied by his father and brother, Robert, the body was brought to Valley Falls Tuesday evening for burial. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. C. H. Kimball, conducting the services at the grave. The burial was in the Farrar Cemetery.

4350 vi. Frederick (Fred) Greathouse was born October 15, 1901. Birth date shown on the WWI Draft Regristration. Frederick died July 1985 in Tuscon, Pima Co., AZ. He married twice. He married Georgie Gelano. Georgie was born 1899. He married Hazel Rutledge. Hazel was born Septembe 2, 1903 in New Windsor, Mercer Co., IL. Hazel was the daughter of Marshall LaFayete Lutrell and Clara Loisa (___). Hazel died May 2,1976 in Tucson, Pima Co., AZ.
