Beatrice Camille⁹ Case (Enoch Welch⁸, Calpurnia (Pum)⁷ Smith, Amanda Melvina (Vine)⁶, Priscilla⁵ Allgood, Wyatt⁴, William (Pikey) Henry³, William John², Edward¹) was born in Wilkiinson Co., MS April 25, 1921. Beatrice died June 26, 2009 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish. LA. OBIT: Services for Beatrice Case Altazin, of Baton Rouge, La., were 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Greenoaks Funeral Home Chapel in Baton Rouge. Mrs Alkazin, age 8, died 6, 2009, at Hospice of Baton Rouge's Butterfly Wing. She was born in Rosetta on April 26, 1921, to Enoch and Marvyn Day Case.

She graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1939. She began a career in property and casualty insurance with the Godbold Agency in Brookhaven. Moving to Baton Rouge in 1946, she continued her insurance career with Bynum & Grace Insurance, retiring after 40 years of service in 1986. Mrs. Altazin was an avid reader with a special fondness for novels written about Mississippi or by Mississippi authors. She was a member of Goodwood Church of Christ ladies' Bible class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered by family and friends for her good spirit and quick wit. A refined, beautiful Steel Magnolia.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Alcee Frank Altazin; a brother, Enoch Welch Case; and her sisters, Ethel Case Grant and Dorothy Case Lewis.

Survivors are a daughter, Sandra Pearce, of Lafayette, La.; a son, Barry Altazin, of Baton Rouge; her four grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.

She married Alcee Frank Altazin February 27, 1949. Alcee was born December 14, 1915. Alcee died August 31, 1988 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parrish. LA. Alcee was buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA.

Beatrice Camille Case and Alcee Frank Altazin had the following children:
