He married Emma Holloway December24,1925. Emma was born June 21, 1905 in Lincoln Co., MS. Emma was the daughter of Sylvestor James (Vest) Holloway and Martha Esther McFarland. Emma died August 4, 2001 in Natchez, Adams Co., MS.. OBIT: Services for Emma Holloway Allgood, 95, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Brookhaven Funeral Home. Burial will be in Easthaven Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allgood was born Aug. 21, 1905, in Lincoln County, daughter of Sylvester James Holloway and Martha McFarland Holloway.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brookhaven and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Prentiss Myron Allgood. Survivors include one son, Ralph H. Allgood of Brookhaven; one daughter, Gloria Allgood Dukes January 1929, Otto D Dukes, May 1930 of Natchez; one grandson, Kevin Dukes; and three great-grandchildren

25447 ii. Ralph Holloway Allgood was born in Lincoln Co, MS December 19, 1930. Ralph died July 17, 2018 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. He married Myra Smitherman. Myra was born January 15, 1928. Myra was the daughter of Virgil Smitherman and Mable (___). Myra died October 10, 2019 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS.
