Harold died December 16, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Harold Allgood, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookhaven, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Allgood, 86, died Dec. 16, 2010, at Brook Manor - Golden Living Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 15, 1924.
He was retired from his work as manager of sheet metal fabrication with Potter Company. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Harold "Sonny" Allgood Jr.; his sisters, Lexie Walker, Anna Marie Beeson and Margaret Alice Ritchie; and his brother, Bobby Beeson.
Survivors are his wife, Cleo Crane Allgood of Brookhaven; his son, Henry Allgood and wife Deanne of Brookhaven; his daughters, Judith Smith and husband Wayne, and Theresa Ballard and husband Henry, all of Brookhaven; his daughter-in-law, Thelma Allgood of Natchez; his brothers, Adolph Allgood, Carey Beeson and Harold Ray Beeson; his sisters, Nelleane Smith, Ernestine McKey, Flora Mae Stein and Corrine Damico; his 10 grandchildren, Jason Calhoun, Chris Calhoun, Christy Rando, Jeff Smith, Daniel Ballard, Melissa Davis, Ashley Allgood, Austin Allgood, Elizabeth Freeman and Danielle Russell; and his 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He married Cleo Louise Crane. Cleo was born June 12, 1924 in MS. Cleo was the daughter of Henry Crane and Ethel Hemphill. Cleo died December 25, 2013 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Cleo Louise Crane Allgood, 89 of Brookhaven, MS, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at her residence in Brookhaven, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 849 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-833-4439 Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 11-2 pm at Friendship Baptist Church .
Mrs. Allgood was a faithful wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother.She was recently honored for her 55 years of service to her church for teaching and rocking babies in the Sunday school nursery at Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed her home and taking care of her flowers.
