OBIT: Louise (Allgood) Ford, 76, of 13191 North County Highway 9, died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill. She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Owensboro, the daughter of Virgil and Mary (Ijames) Allgood. She married Merle H. Ford on Nov. 6, 1954, in Owensboro. He died June 14, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers. She was a homemaker and a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Tom (Dana) Ford of Lewistown and Merle Jr. (Brenda) Ford of Cuba, Ill.; three daughters, Mary (Bill) Hughes of Havana, Ill., Marla Ford of Chicago and Marsha Ford of LaGrange, Ill.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Lewistown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Bunnage officiating. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the church. Henry-Lange Memorial Homes, Ltd., is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
She married Merle Henry Ford November 6, 1954 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., KY. Merle was born April 25, 1928. Merle died June 14, 2003 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., KY.
