She was born March 27, 1917 to the late Tyre Glen "T.G." and Rebecca Hutchens Maynard Mrs. Baity was a member of Huntsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Boone Baity on Jan. 24, 2007; five sisters Mary Watson, Maude Boggs, Mable Johnson, Mildred Wooten and Pauline Matthews; two brothers Forest Maynard and John "Johnny" Maynard. She is survived by her sons Thomas Wayne "Tommy" (Brenda) Baity, Huntsville; Stephen Gray "Steve" (Janice) Baity, East Bend; grandchildren Kelly Baity Petree, Jeffrey Wayne (Tina) Baity, Rhonda Baity (Lee) Finney; great grandchildren Salem Finney, Arden Finney, Tatum Finney, Christopher (Elizabeth) Petree, Makell Shreve, Taylor Baity, Gabriel Baity and Beau Baity; and one sister Donnie (Blaine) Vestal.
She married Thomas Boone Baity October 5,1940 in Hillsville, VA. Thomas was born September 11, 1915 in Yadkin Co/GuilfordCo., NC. Thomas was the son of Isaac Henry Baity and Emma Russell. Thomas died January 24, 2007 in Yadkinville, Yadkin Co., NC.
