He married Gladys Muriel (Myrel) Miller October 16, 1939 in Brown Co., TX. Gladys was born August 7, 1924 in Milburn, Johnston Co., OK. Gladys was the daughter of Addison Eugene Miller and Dorothy Cowan. Gladys died July 5, 2002 in Brownwood, Brown Co., TX. OBIT: Funeral services for Gladys Myrel Allgood, 77, of Lake Brownwood, will be held at 2pm, Monday, 8 July 2002 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ruben Packer officiating. Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home. Mrs. Allgood died Friday, 5 July 2002, at a local nursing home. She was born 7 August 1924, in Milburn to the late Addison Eugene "A.E." and Dorothy Cowan Miller. She married Howard Allgood on 16 October 1939, in Brown County. He preceded her in death. She was a Baptist and had worked at Texas Feathers for 23 years. She attended school at Indian Creek and had lived at lake Brownwood for the past 10 years. Survivors include three sons; Bill Allgood and wife, Jackie, of Ft. Worth, Walt Allgood of Lake Brownwood and Dwayne Allgood and wife, Rolanda of Brownwood: daughter, Arlene English of North Richland Hills: two sisters, Viola Favor and husband, Arnold, of Brady, and Dorothy Sikes and husband, Harold, of Midland; daughter-in-law, Sharon Allgood of Brownwood; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Archie Miller and son, Wayne Allgood.

10232 iii. Walton (Walt ) Eugene Allgood was born in Brown Co., TX September 28, 1944. Walton died July 4, 2008 in Temple, Bell Co., TX. OBIT: Walton Eugene "Whis" Allgood, age 63, of Brownwood, died Friday in the Central Texas Veteran's Hospital in Temple.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 PM Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brownwood with burial to follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 7 PM Sunday with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM at Heartland Funeral Chapel.
He was born September 28, 1944 in Brownwood, the son of the late Howard Eldon and Myrel Miller Allgood. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1963 and later served in the U. S. Army. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and received a Purple Heart. He worked as an exterminator for many years.
He married three times.
