Issac H. Ginn was born in lHopewell, VA 1917. Issac died April 22, 1991 in Plaistow, Burlington Co., NH. 10232 iv. Agnes Ginn was born in Hopewell, Hopewell Co., VA 1918. Agnes died March 6, 2013 in Deerfield Beach, FL. OBIT: Agnes G. Dube, 94, of Deerfield Beach, FL formerly of Plaistow, N.H., passed away on March 6, 2013 following a short illness. Born in Hopewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary Elizabeth (Terrell) Ginn. She was a graduate of Hopewell High School and Hesser College.

Mrs. Dube was the widow of State Representative LeRoy S. Dube and lived in Plaistow for over sixty years. She served as news correspondent for the New Hampshire Union Leader, Rockingham News and Haverhill Gazette.

As a resident of the Plaistow community, Agnes was a member of the Plaistow Civil Defense during World War II. She worked on the Rockingham County Community Action Program to enroll elderly in Medicare Alert in the Town of Plaistow and the Town of Atkinson under the direction of the Social Security Office of Plaistow, N.H. Agnes was regional chairperson of the Hart Fund Drive in Plaistow, Atkinson and Hampstead, N.H. She served for many years as Chairperson of the Red Cross, Boy Scouts and March of Dimes drives. Also, she served as public relations chairperson of the board of directors of the Haverhill Girl Scout Council.

As a member of the Holy Angels Church, Agnes was President of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women in N.H., President of the Catholic Women’s Guild of Holy Angels Church and served as Eucharistic Minister for twenty years. She worked on many Church dinners, weekly card parties, carnival committees as well as serving on the Altar Society.

In 1998, the Town of Plaistow’s Annual Report was dedicated in her honor because “she touched the lives of many and worked selflessly for the betterment of all.”

Agnes retired to The Forum at Deer Creek in Deerfield Beach, FL in 2006. As an independent resident, she was a member of the Writer’s Club and for three years was secretary for the resident’s monthly meetings.

Mrs. Dube was preceded in death by her sister State Representative Annie Mae Schwaner and by brothers William W. and Isaac H. Ginn. She is survived by a sister Mary L. Waclawski of Yorktown, Virginia, sister-in-law Helen Ginn of Port Richy, FL and three generations of nieces and nephews especially Susan A. Iannuccillo of Coral Springs, FL, Gordon W. Schwaner and his wife Nellie of Dalton, MA and Mary Ellen Hamilton and her husband Robert of Parkland, FL who assisted with her care in her later years.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on March 11, 2013 at Mary Help of Christians Church in Parkland, Florida. Burial at Holy Angels Cemetery, Westville, N.H. will take place at the convenience of the family under the direction of Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, N.H.

She married LeRoy S. Dube November 9,1940 in Westville, Rockingham Co., NH.

LeRoy was born August 14, 1908 in Essex Co., MA. LeRoy was the son of Alphonse J Dube and Lena E Whittemore. LeRoy died July 14, 1997 in Haverhill, MA.
