Juda died November 10, 2009 in Portsmouth, Scioto Co., OH. OBIT: Juda Mae "Judy" Stephens, 72, of McDermott died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at SOMC Hospice. She was born March 20, 1937, in Columbus, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Gladys Phipps Adkins.

Judy was a retired nurse's aide from Rest Haven Nursing Home in McDermott and a 1955 Valley High School graduate.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Stephens; one sister, Elizabeth Bradshaw; and one brother Mike Adkins.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Stephens Jr., whom she married Dec. 20, 1958, in Fullerton, Ky.; one daughter, Donna (Larry) Webster of Portsmouth; one son, Scott (Stephanie) Stephens of Fort Hood, Texas.; one grandson, Ashton Stephens; two brothers, Donald (Cheryl) Adkins and Ronnie (Rita) Adkins, both of Lucasville; and two sisters, Alice Adkins and Wanda (Gene) Elliott both of Lucasville.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Rodney Brower officiating. Burial will follow in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday before the funeral at the funeral home.

Juda Mae Adkins and Warren Stephens JR had the following children:
