He married Mary Lucille Choate. Mary was born August 12, 1921 in Girard, TX. Mary was the daughter of Charlie Anderson Choate and Bertha Avline Pulis. Mary died November 23,1989 in Palo Alto, Santa Clara Co., CA. OBIT: Mary Lucille was the 5th child born to Charlie Anderson Choate and Bertha Avlene Pulis Choate. Lucille was a kind hearted woman but was often misunderstood due to her progressive mental illness. Lucille loved to sing and often used song as a means to express her feelings and emotions. Lucille spent most of her aging years living a quite, independent, and solitary life. She died from a heart attack after receiving the news of the passing of her brother, Bobby. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and her only child George Elmer Clark. She was survived by 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 grandchildren.

Lucille was cremated by the Neptune Society of Central California. Her ashes were in the care of sister, Ruth Choate Keener and later buried with her Great Grandson, Kendal Ray George. Kendal Ray died shortly after birth. Lucille and Kendal Ray are buried in the same cemetery as George Elmer Clark.
