She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Harris; son, Bobby Harris; granddaughter, Kellie Harris; and three siblings. She enjoyed camping, and spending time with her loving family. Maxine was a home maker and a beloved mother of Patty Rushlow (Tom), Franklin Harris (Karla) and William Harris (Vickie); 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and brother, Arlen Allgood (Lenora).
The visitation will begin on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
She married Robert Frranklin. Harris 1947. Robert was born November 8, 1918 in Francis, Pontotoc Co., OK. Robert was the son of Marion Alexander Harrris and Sarah Celia Jane Mankin. Robert died January 23, 2009 in Midwest City, Okahoma Co., OK. OBIT: Robert F. Harris, 89, of Midwest City, OK, was born on November 8, 1918 in Francis, OK, and passed away January 23, 2008. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII receiving a purple heart while serving on the front lines for 18 months. Robert had operated a dairy farm in Francis, OK. He retired from Tinker after 23 years of service and also had a contract plumbing business. He loved gardening and garage sales. He is survived by his wife, Maxine of 62 years; daughter and son-in-law, Patty Rushlow and Tom of Arlington, TX; sons & daughters-in-law, Franklin & Karla Harris of Choctaw, OK, William & Vickie Harris of Midwest City; his grandchildren, Tim Rushlow of Franklin, TN, Doni Harris of Franklin, TN, Tina DeVincenzo of Southlake, TX, Michael Harris of Seminole, OK, Dewayne Harris of Lewisville, TX, Kim Harris of Lewisville, TX, Frankie Sue Harris of Oklahoma City, Christy Harris of Oklahoma City, Angel Harris of Wilburton, OK; and 13 great- grandchildren; his sister, Opal Moore of Midwest City; his brother, Willie Harris of CA; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Bobby Dale Harris; granddaughter, Kellie Harris of Midwest City; brother, Otto Harris of Ada, OK; and sister, Lorene Allen of Midwest City. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
