Susie died March 30, 1922 in Marshalltown, Marshall Co., IA. OBIT: Mrs. Susie Frances Nichols, wife of Frank Nichols, 608 Woodbury street, died at 2:30 this morning of pneumonia following grip. She had been ill three weeks. Mrs. Nichols was born Wagner in Mahaska county, July 25, 1892. Her husband and eight children survive as does her mother, Mrs. Frances Wagner, two brothers, John and Isaac Wagner, and a sister, Miss Bessie Wagner, all of this city. The funeral will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon from the residence in charge of the Salvation Army.

She married Henry Franklin (Frank) Nichols December 14, 1912 in Marshall Co., IA. Henry was born February 7, 1882 in Dobson, Surry Co., NC. Henry was the son of George NIchols and Sarah Vestal. Henry died March 16, 1984 in State Center, IA. Henry was buried in Rose Hilll Memorial Gardens.

Susie Frances Wagner and Henry Franklin (Frank) Nichols had the following children:

+ 7169 i. Clifford Harold¹⁰ Nichols was born April 29, 1911.

+ 7171 iii. Bernice Lola (Betty) Nichols was born June 2, 1914.

Julian was born March 31, 1906 in Loup, Custer Co., NE. Julian was the son of Ralph F. Waldo and Ludicia Ballard. Julian died January 13, 1993 in Fairmont, Martin Co., MN.
