Lewis died June 18, 2013 in Athens, Clarke Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Lewis Jordan, 85, of Royston, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA.

Mr. Jordan was born in Royston, GA on September 10, 1927, son of the late William Jordan and the late Ruby Welborn Jordan. He was a machinist having worked with Lockheed in Marietta, GA and a member of the Royston First United Methodist Church. Mr. Jordan was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Camilla Townsend Jordan of Royston, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey C. Jordan of Royston, GA, David Lewis and Austina Jordan also of Royston, GA; grandchildren, Zachary Jordan, Sarah Jordan and Lisa Jordan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his brothers, Gregory Jordan and Austin Jordan; sister, Mary Louise Jordan Heaton.

Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mac Enfinger and Rev. Frederick S. McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, GA.

He married Camilla Dietrich Townsend September 10,1948 in Royston, Franklin Co., GA. Camilla was born September 11,1929 in Eagle Grove, Harrt Co., GA. Camilla was the daughter of Otis Townsend and Jewel Colvad Newborn. Camilla died August 29, 2020 in Carnesville, Franklin Co., GA.

Lewis Jordan and Camilla Dietrich Townsend had the following children:
