Jesie died January 25, 2010 in Siloam Springs, Benton Co., AR. OBIT: Jessie Leo Adkins, 92, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died January 25, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas.
Born December 12, 1917, in Tussy, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William Earl and Ella Allgood. She made her home in Stanton and Midland, Texas, with her late husband, Richard Adkins. She recently lived with her daughter and son-in-law, LaRue and Kenneth Yates in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Richard Adkins; one daughter, Lou Ann Badgett; one son, Charles Richard Adkins; one brother, Earl Allgood; and three sisters, Leona Cravens, Johnnie Kennemer and Geneva Franklin.
Survivors include one daughter, LaRue Yates and husband, Kenneth of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three brothers, Kenneth Allgood of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Cherry Allgood of Sheridan, California and Bill Allgood of Roseburg, Oregon; one son-in-law, Loie Badgett of Andrews; six grandchildren, Todd Yates, Tracy Williams, Tiffany Marshall, Tami Yontz, Keith Badgett, and Kelli Wink; fourteen great-grandchildren, Chris Yontz, Kiley Yontz, Korlie Yontz, Josh Hastings, Jamie Hastings, Sara Hayes, Bailey Badgett, Trevor Badgett, Taylor Yates, Tara Yates, Sidney Williams, Rachael Williams, Mason Marshall, and Chance Marshall; and four great-great-grandchildren, Kasin Yontz, Kensie Yontz, Riley Hayes, and Rowdy Hayes.
Pallbearers will be Todd Yates, Taylor Yates, Keith Badgett, Clint Yontz, Chris Yontz, Chris Williams, Steven Marshall and Kevin Wink.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m, Friday, January 29, 2010, at Evergreen Cemetery, Stanton, Texas. Jessie will lie in state at Gilbreath Funeral Home Thursday and Friday until service time.
She married Albert Richard Adkins. Albert was born December 12,1917 in Tussy, CarterC o., OK. Albert died January 14, 2001 in Springdale, Washington Co., AR.
Jesie Leo Allgood and Albert Richard Adkins had the following children:
