She married John Jackson Bohannon December 5,1943 in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co, VA. John was born August 1887 in Franklin Co., NC. John was the son of Augustus (Gus) Andrew Bohannon and Louise Burnett.

Willie was born January 1, 1915 in Stokes Co., NC. Willie was the son of Poza Lankford and Susie Bennett. Willie died April 15, 1975 in South Boston, Halifax Co., VA.
10418 iii. Raymond Gray Thompson was born in VA June 10, 1909. Raymond died June 26, 1981 in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co., VA.

10423 viii. Clarence Edward Thompson was born in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co, VA March 11, 1924. Clarence died August 4,1985 in South Hill, Mecklenburg Co., VA. He married Eliza Ann Stafford. Eliza was born March 3, 1911. Eliza was the daughter of James Mayfield Stafford and Minnie (__). Eliza died November 3, 2007 in Clarksville, Mecklenburg Co., VA. OBIT: Mrs. Eliza Stafford Thompson, 96, of Boydton, affectionely known by many as "Granny", died November 3, 2007 at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville.
Born March 3, 1911 to James and Minnie Mayfield Stafford, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Otis L. Thompson and Clarence Thompson, her children, Estelle Watson, Annie M. Jones, Leo Thompson, brothers, Vance Stafford, Charles "Homer" Stafford, Alex Stafford, Jesse Stafford, sisters, Virginia Dunn, Margaret Hatcher, Laura Hatcher.
She is survived by her son, Otis Allen Thompson and wife Mary of Ponchatoula, LA, ten grandchildren, Joan McCutcheon of Summersville, WV, Anita Howell of Rocky Mt., NC, Racheal Jenkins of South Hill, Susan Tudor of Clarksville, Deloris Bohannon of Boydton, Scott Thompson of Boydton, Theresa Barbarick of Gulf Port, MS, Duane Thompson of Sacramento, CA, Alisa Thomas of Broken Arrow, OK, Stacey Dupree of Madisonville, LA, 18 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Sunday evening at Wood Funeral Service, Chase City. Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday at Wood Funeral Chapel with interment in Rehoboth United Methodist Church cemetery, Boydton. o
