General Notes: A Drury Breazeale, Jr. is listed in the Abbeville Parish, S.C. 1790 U.S. Census with 4 sons under 16 years of age and 5 females. We do not have the names of the 5 females. Drury Breazeale, Jr. made his will in 1822 in which he named his wife Mary as beneficiary. Then in 1829 Mary Ann Breazeale's estate was administered, also in Abbeville Parish, S.C., with Michael Breazeale as administrator. This was Drury's youngest son, but possibly the only one left at home, because it is known that the two older boys had already moved to Alabama.

General Notes: Willis married his mixed slave, named Mary Ann and had a son named Daniel Allen, born in 1812 in Mississippi When Willis died, he left everything to Daniel. Apparently he was well off. But since Daniel's mother was mixed, and a slave, Willis's brother and sister took over after his death, and threw him off the property, and said that slaves weren't allowed to own property in Mississippi. He went to Arkansas and the spelling of the last name was changed to Breazile in the census. I don't know if this was because he couldn't spell good, or because he wanted to be distanced from that family. He married a woman named Susanna Robinett.

This family lived in the same area as John Blocker Breazeale, Family No. 14, a kinsman of his.
In 1845, the will of Abner McMillan was filed listing Nancy McMillan Breazeale, the wife of Akin Breazeale as an heir. This will also listed the children of Susannah (Susan) McMillan Breazeale, wife of John Blocker Breazeale, Family No. 14, as heirs also. If this information is all correct, this family moved back to Belton, S.C. because there is an Akin Breazeale buried in the Breazeale Family Cemetery near Belton, S.C.
