MARION, MR. BLUFORD MILTON "BLU", born March 12, 1917 in Randolph County, Alabama, the son of T. L. and Effie Austin Marion. He married Helen Kerr and had children, Donald H. (Mary) Marion and Helen E. "Beth" Marion Moore. His wife preceded him in death in 1941. He was also preceded by his parents, and his siblings, Zelma Lee Marion, Bowden Hanley Marion and William Jackson Manon. Mr. Marion is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Estelle Penick Marion; grandchildren, Matthew Wayne (Allison) Moore, Kimberly Moore (William) Vann, Donna Marion (David) Baillie, Michelle Marion (Daryl) Parrott, and Donald Patrick Marion, U. S. Navy; and six great-grandchildren. The graveside Service was held at Rock Springs Christian Church in Randolph County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Shelby County Humane Society or your favorite charity.
