She married twice. She married Charles Theodore Yonker June 9, 1958 in Phenix City, Russell Co., AL. Charles was born January 24, 1938 in Bay City, Bay Co., MI. Charles was the son of Charles David Yonker and Bernice Trimble. Charles died May 20, 2007 in Columbus, Muscogee Co., GA. Obit: Charles T. Yonker, 69 of Smiths Station, AL died Sunday May 20, 2007 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM EDT, today (Wednesday) at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Danny Ryals officiating according to Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. The family will receive friends and family at the graveside. Mr. Yonker was born January 24, 1938 in Bay City, MI and was the son of the late Charles Donald Yonker and Bernice Trimble Yonker. He was a United States Army Veteran, and retired as a body shop painter. Mr. Yonker was also preceded in death by his son, Keith Yonker. He is survived by his wife, Maria Zang Hughes of Smiths Station; three daughters, Pam Moore and husband David of Shreveport, LA., Denise Norris and husband Steve of Knoxville, TN., Karen Williford and husband Steven of Phenix City; one son, Kevin Yonker of Columbus, GA.; sister, Betty Seggidski of Bay City, MI.; daughter in law, Deana Morin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; aunts, Edria Trimble and Inez Simmons; stepchildren, Marianne Dixon, and Patricia Hinkle of Phenix City, Billy Hughes of Smiths Station, Jimmy Hughes and wife Josephine of Salem, AL; several nieces and nephews.
