Hazel died October 3, 2013 in Gadsden, Etowah Co. AL. OBIT: Hazel Moncus, 97, of Gadsden, passed away at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Perry of Clay County; husband, Randall J. Moncus; sons, Randall Jackson Moncus Jr. and Jerry Wayne Moncus. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Maughon (Donald V. Cook); extended family

Randall, in his junior year in high school, he was accidentally hit in the head with a baseball bat. It affected his mind to the extent that he spent the rest of his life in the State Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is buried in Crestwood Cemetery, near Gadsden, AL Randall never married.
19747 ii. Jerry Wayne Moncus was born in Gadsden, Etowah Co. AL October 24, 1944. Jerry died Januay 25, 2004. Jerry and his wife, Elzanne are both buried at the Crestwood Cemetery near Gadsden, AL He married Elzanne Wright.
Elzanne died April 1989.
