Brunner died January 18, 1999 in Clay Co., AL. (WADLEY) Graveside funeral services for Brunner M. Moncus, 84, of Wadley will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Pine Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Mallory and the Rev. Bill Huffman officiating. Mr. Moncus died Monday, Jan. 18, at Clay County Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Randolph County on Nov. 17, 1914, son of Elick Mack and Beulah Lenora Wilkinson Moncus. He was a veteran of World War II, was self-employed as a farmer and plumber, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Almond Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Opal McGill Moncus of Wadley; two daughter[s], Vickie Wade of Camp Hill and Christie Young of Fairfax, VA.; two sons, Earl Moncus of Wadley and Ed Moncus of Adairsville, Ga.; one sister, Ruby Welch of Knoxville; one brother, Albert Moncus of Roanoke; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews. Arrangements are by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee. __________
