Pelham L.¹⁰ Wilkinson (John Kane⁹, Hester Ann America⁸ Morris, Richard Ivey⁷, Nancy Elizabeth⁶ Allgood, John Young⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Rome, Tallapoosa Co., AL January 1920. Pelham died June 15, 2009 in LaGrange, Troup Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Pelham L. Wilkinson, 89, of LaGrange, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Wilkinson was born January 18, 1920 in Malone, AL, son of the late John Kane Wilkinson and Martha Jane Hodge Wilkinson. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. Mr. Wilkinson was retired from Troup Tech, where he worked as a welding instructor for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Wilkinson of LaGrange; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and James Givins of LaGrange; grandchildren, Jamie and Natalie Givins of LaGrange; and a great-grandson, James L. Givins, Jr.

The family will be at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and James Givins, 108 Thomas Drive, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may contribute to West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mr. Pelham L. Wilkinson.m
