268. Daniel⁷ Allgood (Joseph Royal⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Surry Co., NC 1820.

He married Mary Reace November 8, 1846 in Surry Co. NC. Mary was born 1825 in Surry Co., NC. Daniel was a shoemaker.

Daniel Allgood and Mary Reace had the following children:

 1197 i. Iredell R.⁸ Allgood was born in Surry Co. NC 1844. Iredell died May 18, 1863 in MS. Iredell was buried in the Vicksburg National Cemetery, Vicksburg, MS After the Civil War, Iredell's brother Sanford was awarded a Ciivil Ward pension of $495 monthlyas result of Iredell's death.

 1198 ii. Barton R. Allgood was born in Surry Co., NC 1847.

 1199 iii. Thira Jane Allgood was born in Surry Co., NC 1849.

 1200 iv. Sanford Wade Allgood was born August 29, 1851.
