He married Jane Ann Watson September 1954 in Selman City, TX. Jane was born November 28,1934 in Beaumont, Jefferson Co., TX. Jane was the daughter of Osey. E. Watson and Ruth Imoge Peebles. Jane died October 28, 2012 in Thornton, Limestone Co., TX. OBIT: A memorial service for Jane Nance, 77, of Bullard (Emerald Bay), will be on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Glenwood Church of Christ with Mr. James Fife officiating. A private burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Thornton Cemetery in Thornton under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Nance passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with a chronic illness. She was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Little Beaumont to Osey and Ruth Watson. Jane will be remembered as a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She grew up in East Texas and graduated from Gladewater High School. She married Wayne Nance in September of 1954 in Selman City. Jane traveled extensively and lived in several states over the years before settling down near her roots, where she and Wayne resided for the last 20 years. She loved people and was a friend to all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. William E. Watson of Lufkin. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 58 years, Wayne Nance of Bullard; sons, Steve Nance and wife Elaine of The Woodlands and Scott Nance of Dallas; grandchildren, Kristen and Grant Pribilski and Michael Nance of Houston; sister, Sarah Nichols and husband Harold of Castroville; brother, Tom Watson and wife Katy of Burley, Wash.; sister-in-law, Ann Watson of Lufkin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many other friends and family who will miss her dearly. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler
