He married Mildred Louise Caldwell May 31, 1936 in Pittsburg, Pike Co., IL. Mildred was born August 3, 1917 in Ashburn, MO. Mildred died November 21, 2004 in Palymra, MO. Obit: Funeral services for Mildred Louise Weaver, 87, of Palmyra, formerly of Frankford, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral services Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana.
Mrs. Weaver died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
She was born Aug. 3, 1917, in Ashburn, to Claude and Flora Mabel Richardson Caldwell.
She was married to Lloyd Raymond Weaver May 30, 1936, in Pittsfield, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by two sons, Terry Lee Weaver and wife, Bernice of Ashburn, Mo., and Don Weaver and wife, Brenda of Louisiana, Mo.; two daughters, Beverly Ann Hester and husband, Carroll of Quincy, Ill., and Janice Rae Krehbiel and husband, Duane, of Lenxa, Kan.; five grandchildren, Ryan White and wife, Kim, Stacy Austin and husband, Kelly, David English, Lucas Krehbiel and Don Weaver Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Ryliegh Ann Marie Austin and Kassidy English; five step-grandchildren; and seven great step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Caldwell, Herbert Caldwell and Gene Caldwell; and three sisters, Otalene Beavers, Bernice Shive and Lucille Caldwell who died in infancy.
She was a member of the Ashburn Free Methodist Church and a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Frankford.
Mildred loved gardening, fishing and cooking for her family. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Cancer Society, in care of Collier Funeral Homes Inc., 117 Barnard Drive, Louisiana, Mo. 63353.
