She married twice. She married William Harold Morris in St Louis, St Louis Co., MO. William was born April 4, 1922. William was the son of Ira Edward Morris and Bessie Eudora Hill. Survived by his wife, Flora Evetts Morris; daughters, Lourie Morris of Ft. Worth, TX and Donna (John) Martin of Memphis, TN; step sons, David and Mark Morgan of Goodlettsville; grandchildren, Jonathan Martin, Tamera Morgan, Amber Morgan and Rachel Millshap; great grandchildren, John Duke and Carmen Alex Dowden. Mr. Morris was a Member of the Prairie Lodge No. 87 F & AM, an Army Veteran of World War II and a Member of Two Rivers Baptist Church. Remains rest at the funeral home of Phillips-Robinson Co., 2707 Gallatin Road, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and where funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 11, 2001 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jerry Sutton officiating. She married Alvin J. Barnes November 22,1947 in Clayton, St Louis Co., MO. Alvin was born June 15, 1929 in St Louis, St Louis Co., MO. Alvin was the son of Loyd Barnes and Hattie Snead. Alvin died March 31, 2003 in Whitwell, Marion Co. TN.
