Mary died September 24, 2005 in Bainbridge, Putnam Co., IN. Obit: Mary Jane Giltz, 81, Bainbridge, died Saturday at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Born May 31, 1924 in Bainbridge, she was the daughter of Fred H. and Jessie Marie (Allgood) Koessler.
A 1942 graduate of Bainbridge High School, she was a homemaker and was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She married Chesley B. Giltz on June 8, 1947. He died Nov. 18, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Ben Giltz, Bainbridge; sister Jean Martin, Bainbridge; a grandson, a granddaughter, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Karen S. Hilburn, sister Betty E. Mason, and brother Fred H. Koessler.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
She married Chesley Benton Giltz June 8, 1947. Chesley was born November 19, 1920. Chesley died November 18, 1996 in Bainbridge, Putnam Co., IN.
Mary Jane Koessler and Chesley Benton Giltz had the following children:
