Karen died February 24, 2004 in Bainbridge, Putnam Co., IN. Obit: Karen Hilburn died Feb. 24 at her Bainbridge home. She was 52.
Born Nov. 17, 1951, she was a daughter of Mary Jane Koessler, who survives, and the late Chesley Benton Giltz. She married Jerry Hilburn, who also survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Jerry Hilburn Jr. of Brazil; and a daughter, Jennifer Black of Kentucky.
Services were Feb. 27 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle. Interment was at Brick Chapel Cemetery.
She married Jerry Ray Hilburn August 28, 1971 in IN. Jerry was born August 14, 1950 in Greencastle, Putman Co., IN. Jerry was the son of Joy Leroy Hilburn and Ethel Adaline Close. Jerry died September 17, 2009 in Lafayette, Owen Co., IN.
Karen Sue Giltz and Jerry Ray Hilburn had the following children:
