She married Jasper William Leafgreen, JR October 14, 1944 in Montgomery Co., IN. Jasper was born August 27,1917 in Decatur, Macon Co., Il. Jasper was the son of Jasper William Leafgreen and Edith Marie Bergstrum. Jasper died March 13, 1998 in Marshall, Parke Co., IN.

Arolene Lavon Staggs and Jasper William Leafgreen, JR had the following children:
