He married twice. He married Mary (Polly) Kees. Mary was born bef 1790 in oakway. Mary was the daughter of Jacob Kees. Mary died 1810 in Franklin Co., MS. He married Mary (Polly) Smith October 10, 1813 in Marion Co., MS. Mary was born 1791 in Moore Co., NC. Mary died 1855 in Franklin Co., MS.
