He married Pernecia Smith November 12, 1846 in Copiah, MS. Pernecia was born Deember 27, 1826 in Copiah, MS. Pernecia was the daughter of Lott Smith and Elizabeth Loving. Pernecia died April 10, 1909 in Lincoln Co., MS. Pernecia was buried in Saron-Allgood Cemetery, Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.

1261 iv. Delila Jane Allgood was born 1852.
1262 v. Emily Jane Allgood was born in Lawrence Co., MS 1853. She married John P. Connally.
1263 vi. Malissa Allgood was born December 8, 1854.
1264 vii. William Allgood was born in MS 1855. He married Elizabeth Jane Smith.
1265 viii. Lott Smith Allgood was born September 13, 1855.
1266 ix. Sarah (Sally) Allgood was born March 23, 1859.
1267 x. Florence Sarena Allgood was born in Lawrence Co., MS 1862. She married Elijah M. Walker. Elijah was born 1862. Elijah was the son of Jeremiah W. Walker and Nancy Smith.
1268 xi. Nancy Priscilla Allgood was born November 1863.
