Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.. Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.. Mrs. Castilaw, 78, died Jan. 29, 2012, at her home. She was born in Mississippi on Jan. 28, 1934, to Noah and Lou Smith.. She was retired from Potter Company in Wesson and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.. Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Lois Smith; brothers, Virgel Smith, Trenton Bill Smith, J.B. Smith and Herman Smith; and in-laws, Bill and Bessie Castilaw..

Survivors are her husband, James Castilaw; sons, Randy Castilaw and wife, Karen, and Mark Castilaw and wife, Katrina; daughter, Regina Douglas and husband, Eddie; sister, Earline Britt; five grandchildren, Brandt, Nikki and Shelly Castilaw, and Benjamin and Alyson Douglas; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Brennen and Roman Hinckle..

She married twice. She married James Jewell Castilaw. James was born 1933. She married James Jewell Dilon in Gadsden, Etowah Co. AL. James was born November 22, 1922. James is the son of Clauncy Clarkson (Clark) Dillon and Nancy Caroline Pounds.
