He married Sarah Jane Chandler 1876. Sarah was born October 14,1862. Sarah was the daughter of William Mackey Chandler and Cynthia LaPearl Smith. Sarah died May 16, 1915. Sarah was buried in Gartman Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.

Mattie died June 12,1979 in Lincoln Co., MS. Perry and Mattie were buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS

4321 vii. Bessie Smith was born September 9,1898.
4322 viii. Anna1 Smith was born September 24, 1898.
4323 ix. Marcus M. Smith was born December 2, 1904. Marcus died February 25, 1969 in Morgan City, Saint Mary Parish, LA. He married Irene Case February 4, 1928. Irene was born April 8, 1911. Irene was the daughter of Joseph (Joe) Case and Ora Furr. Irene died December 2,1982 in Lincoln Co., MS. Irene was buried in Little Bahala Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.
