He married Alma A. Vaughn December 23, 1917 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. Alma was born September 12, 1894. Alma was the daughter of Archie McPerson (Mug) Vaughn and Mary Rebecca Smith. Alma died February 18,1985 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.
