Eva died April 3, 2017 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Imogene Anding Nations will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Garland Boyd, Bro. Talmadge Smith and Bro. Nathan Case will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Nations, 82, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, April 3, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 24, 1934 in Lincoln County, MS, to Johnson and Eunice Case Anding. She alongside her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for 35 years. Mrs. Nations was a lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Yvonne Boyte and Mavis Smith; and brothers, Denver Anding, Dallas Anding and Carlos Anding.
Survivors are her husband of 62 years, James Curtis Nations; children, Jill Pepper and husband Randy, Dudley Nations and wife Susan, Jackie McCullough and husband Reggie, Lisa Jackson and husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Heather Wallace and husband Darron, Hope Smith and husband Toby, Jason Nations and wife Lanna, Ryan McCullough, James Thornton Jr., Chris Thornton and wife Autumn, Bridget DeDeaux and husband Jeremy, Rusti Wallace and husband Jason; 17 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Aileen Anding and Elsie Anding; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Stoney DeDeaux, Ryan McCullough, Jason Nations, Chris Thornton, James Thornton and Trace Wallace.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bracen DeDeaux, Chase McCullough, Jacob Nations, Blake Thornton, Devyn Thornton and Caleb Morris.
Eva Imogene Anding and James Curtis Nations had the following children:
