Yula died May 30, 2005 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., NM. OBIT: Graveside services for Yula Ely Pettey, 80, of Bryan TX are set for 10 a.m. June 25 at Waxahachie City Cemetery.

Mrs. Pettey died May 30 in Albuquerque, N.M.
She was born in Waxahachie and lived in Bryan TX for 10 years. She was a retired school nurse. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University in 1950.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Pettey of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Jennifer Petty of Fort Worth; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Bill Hobson of Bryan; a sister, Ruth Wilson of Lindale; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association
She married John William Pettey. John was born August 12, 1917. John died December 2, 2005 in Bryan, Brazos Co., TX. OBIT: Graveside services for John William Pettey, 88, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Pettey died Dec. 2 at his home. He retired as a title attorney from Dallas Title Co. in 1987.
Survivors include a son, William Robert Pettey of Fort Worth; a daughter, Margaret Hobson of Bryan; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
